An ode to Hope Sandoval…

I’ve been listening to her songs for many years now, she’s in my small selection of female singers that I keep listening to over the years. Both her solo efforts (with the Warm Inventions) and the albums she did with her band Mazzy Star, have a quality and atmoshere best described with one of her own songtitles ‘Feelings of Gaze’. Psychedelic, dreamy, hazy, magical and addictive songs. Perfect for when you’re on drugs and alcohol or when you’re high on tea and butter cookies.
