Souvenir is a photo-series and also a great book with ingenious design by Dutch talented photographer Lonneke van der Palen.

The pictures in the book, that Lonneke made as her graduation project, tell the stories, show the ‘memories of a journey never made’, and is completely made of found, typical cliche imagery that she has translated to her own version of that images, thus creating her own souvenirs of a journey that only exists in her imagination.

Lonneke is exhibiting in Rotterdam’s ‘Showroom MAMA‘ from 5 November 2011 – 23 December 2011 / opening the 4th of November. Highly recommended!
