My name is Rafal Piotr Karcz and I born in 1969 in Krakow, Poland.
I am based deep in the pop culture and underground music scenes, from the 60s to nowadays society, from psychedelia to trash rock and garage rock revival as well.
In my works I am trying to search for inner psychedelic spaces, almost doors of perception in combination with ironic or autoironic comments, for example in the titles of my works/series. I really like Cindy Shermans photography but I hate art-worls celebs, so I decided to title one of my series ‘I wanna kill Cindy Sherman’. (Photography with spoiled surfaces by using an acid)
