In Tokyo-based photographer Hal‘s ‘Flesh Love’ series, Japanese couples are sealed in plastic to create a vacuum-sealed pack of love.
The works capture the lovers’ strange and tight plastic bond, in which they are so entwined together they seem to transform into one single being. Awkward but ever so typical Japanese.
The works are available as a book and as an iPad application here.
