Today: Singer/songwriter Fink is in our country again. I’ve seen this kid a few weeks ago at several festivals and boy.. it’s beautiful and totally[...]
Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga was so totally inspired by pixels that he designed a collection full with it, for the 2011/2012 Autumn/Winter collection of his Anrealage Label (real, unreal, and age). Justus Bruns is an incredible creative and ambitious guy, who’s chasing dreams and initiating projects with a passion that could easily make one jealous. One of the dreams and probably the main one and a great one is, his ambition to free Times Square New York from all the advertising and to replace it with[...]
The über-allround-cool-creator Mike Leavitt made a very cool series of hand-crafted action figures, resembling the likes of famous artists like Ai Weiwei, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami, Gilbert and George and CY Twombly. Figures are made from polymere clay and show clever hints of the art-works that the artists are known for. More examples[...]
Tres spectacular supernatural sculptures by French artist Max Boufathal. They’re named ‘The Fighting Solar Bros’ and impersonate the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye and James Brown. The masks, bones and the golden muscles made of steel, plaster, black shoe polish and plastic bags look just amazing and actually pretty scary. Great. Tweet

The ‘Soundsuits’ are amazing wearable fabric sculptures in the scale of the artist, made from all sorts of different materials like twigs, dyed human hair, sisal, plastic buttons,[...]

The objects are made out of everyday stuff, like kitchen-gear, pills, plastic glasses, tape, foam, screws, matches, you name it and it’s there, with every common lousy thing playing an important part in the picture. Great concept,[...]
Great installation by Alicia Eggert and Mike Fleming. The work consists of 30 clocks that once in every 12 hours spell the word ‘Eternity’ for a moment. Via. Tweet
