Door 3voor12 ook wel dé nieuwe kanshebber om eclectische festivalsensatie van 2013 te worden. Het duo Cynthia (17) en Jonas (27) vormen de basis voor het op de 80s geïnspireerde geluid van de band. Met gelijkenissen van Of Monsters and Men tot MGMT is de band niet te labelen onder één genre.

FilosofischeStilte – 22:00
De Haagse dj/producer Filosofische Stilte ofwel Luuk Graham, is pas 19 jaar maar heeft al twee EP’s en een beat-tape uitgebracht. En hij werd dit jaar al tot één van de 10 meest belovende artiesten voor 2013 uitgeroepen door DJ broadcast magazine, met zijn mix van skwee, hiphop en 8-bit.

After completing studies in graphic design and photography, I began my career collaborating with brands such as Gucci, Fendi and Neil Barrett. From there, I focused on editorial photography, working each day with daring, persistence and patience, developing my style, my vision. I decided to concentrate on a different feminine view, in an artistic key, not just a focus on “model beauty”, working outside the boundaries of convention.

Working with dedicated models, agencies, artists and technicians between Paris and Milan has continually driven my commitment to produce amazing works and to perfecting my craft. My style is expressed through the elements of minimalism, graphics, structure, purity, monochrome, elegance, architecture, androgyny, conceptualism and the unique.

Voor de jubileum editie van 7 juni, het museum bestaat 40 jaar, heeft het duo Eke Bon en Mireille l’Amie een multimediale expositie georganiseerd waarbij de talentvolle creatieven van het ‘De Grote 8‘ collectief hun visie zullen geven op het werk van Vincent van Gogh.

De Grote 8 reist hierbij 40 jaar terug in de tijd. Van QR code terug naar het potlood.

I specialize in fashion illustrations with pen and pencil. My work is characterized by fashion, femininity, hair textures, realism, organic and geometric shapes, always including a touch of autonomous work. Recently I’ve also become more interested in typography and I try to integrate that in my illustration work. I’m ambitious and always on the urge to make more.

At the moment I’m an intern at PUP Concepts in Amsterdam, where I’m learning more about the commercial side of the job as a designer. Besides currently finishing my bachelor in Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, I also work as a fashion model with Max Models.
